Ann, LVT

Ann grew up on a farm in Niagara County where she knew she wanted a career working with animals; therefore, she went to Medaille College in Buffalo for veterinary technology where she graduated in May 1996 and became a licensed veterinary technician. She worked as a technician for 1 year at a mixed animal practice near home. She then moved to Arizona & worked as a technician for 5 years in a small animal practice before returning to WNY in 2002. She has been working at Town & Country ever since. She resides in Lockport with her husband Eric and her 2 young daughters Natalie & Erica. Ann has a dog named Neea & 4 cats, Sahara, Martin, Tips and Kenny. Ann also shares her home with chickens!  Ann enjoys many aspects of veterinary medicine, but has special interests in dentistry, diagnostic testing, radiology and discussing preventive care. 

Heather, LVT

A Western New York native, Heather is a 1992 graduate of Medaille College, and has worked as a Veterinary Technician in some of WNY’s larger practices. At Town and Country, Heather is able to utilize her skills in behavior, breeding, and OSHA compliance. Since childhood, Heather has been involved in showing and breeding AKC show dogs, with a special interest in Bull Terriers. Heather lives in her Cheektowaga home with her Bull Terriers Mae, Leonard, and Howard.  She also owns a Ball Python. Heather likes to spend time traveling to dog shows, walking her herd of bullies, and relaxing with a good book.

Katie, LVT

Originally from Vermont, Katie graduated from Medaille in 2006 with a degree in Veterinary Technology and began her vet tech career at Town & Country Animal Clinic soon after.  She enjoys all aspects of her job but takes special interest in surgery and the anesthetic monitoring that goes with it.  Katie enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband Nick and their two yellow labs, Rio & Pearl.  Katie and Nick just welcomed a new baby, Evelyn, to their family, so be sure to offer her your congratulations when you see her!

Valerie, LVT

Valerie has been a Licensed Veterinary Technician since 2003. She joined the staff at Town & Country in January 2012. During her career she has developed a special interest in dentistry and senior pets. Valerie shares her home with her husband Mike and two stepdaughters, Alexa and Mikayla. Her family also includes a Rottweiler named Xena, a boxer named Pappy, and a boxer mix named Sully. She also has 2 orange kitties named Freddy and Nikki.

 

Tiffany, LVT

Tiffany has been a veterinary assistant since 2010 and joined the TAC family in May of 2013.  She recently graduated from Medaille College witha degree in Veterinary Technology.  In her free time, Tiffany loves to spend time with her multiple rescue dogs, cats and rats.  She has recently added another addition to her family, a "tripod" (3 legged Yorkie) named Tripp.  Tiffany also loves to shop and spend time outdoors.

 

Kailee, LVT

Kailee graduated with her bachelors in Wildlife Management. After a year of working in a veterinary hospital as an assistant she decided to go back to school and enrolled at Medaille. She took a course in pet first aid & CPR and also earned her liscence for wildlife rehabilitation. Kailee graduated with an associates in Veterinary Technology in January 2014. She then got her first job as a tech working in an emergency clinic. Kaillee joined the TAC family in September of 2015. She hopes to expand her technician skills even futher.  Kailee shares her home with her four cats, Hawkeye, Sherlock, Stormageddon, and Bucky Barnes. 

Alex, LVT

Alex graduated from Medaille College in 2012 with a degree in Veterinary Technology. After taking coursework in applied animal behavior, she became certified in Low Stress Handling methods. Recently, she started a dog trainer professional program through Karen Pryor Academy and is pursuing her Vet Tech Specialty in Behavior. In her spare time, Alex enjoys working with her 2 Flat-Coated Retrievers, Loki and Rori, and often likes to unwind with a good movie and a current knitting project.
